Guadalajara 2010 Agenda: For a Latin American space for socially responsible knowledge

Abstract

The Second International Meeting of Universia Rectors Guadalajara 2010 was held in Guadalajara, Mexico, on May 31st and June 1st 2010, year of the Bicentennials, with the participation of the heads of 1 029 Latin American universities and 57 delegates of universities from other countries, and the attendance of high institutional and social representatives. The papers presented at the Meeting, the debates that took place and the wide-ranging prior process of participation online open to the entire university community led to the reaching of important conclusions that are summed up in this Document.
