Abstract

The objective of this descriptive and documentary work is to investigate basic education teachers as study subjects in educational excellence postgraduate studies in Brazil. To this end the assessment identified three graduate courses with the highest ratings in the assessment by CAPES (Coordination for the improvement of higher education) and in said courses five groups were investigated with a focus on the study of the teacher, exploring their access to the internet, seniority, specific lines of research, academic production, synergies and involved staff and likewise the master’s thesis and doctoral dissertations in said groups.
